Li Xinggang was Born in 1969. He was Graduated from Architecture Department of Tianjin University in 1991. In 1998, he was awarded the Scholarship of France President’s Program 50 Chinese Architects and went to Franch for further study. Now he is the Vice chief architect of China Architecture Design & Research Group, and the Director of Atelier Li Xinggang.

The Illusive Garden——Cultural Revolution Mirror Museum/ Li Xinggang

The Jianchuan Museum Group planned by Atelier FCJZ & JiaKun Architects occupies 500 mu (about 333,000sqm) between the old town of Anren and the levee of Ciejiang River. It is composed by 3 groups of blocks with museums of different subjects and stores. Not only the memory, civilization and education, the plan also emphasizes the life and business of museum. It pays more attention rather than the physical one to the spatial city rather than the physical one.
Cultural Revolution Mirror Museum is one of the mixed blocks.
