Ordos Art Museum is the first building of Ordos’ new civic center on a stretch of sand dunes along the lake that is dedicated as a “public corridor” with art and cultural facilities. This 29,000 sq.ft. of exhibition and research space is distributed within an undulating form with a central span lifting clear off the ground, suggesting a desert viper winding over the dunes.

In year 2007, China Art Institute has programmed 8 museums for 8 individual Chinese artists in Qingchengshan, Chengdu in southwest China.

Jinhua Architecture Park, Zhejiang Public Toilet
A public toilet is indeed a private space. Located in Jinhua Architecture Park among sixteen other public pavilions designed by architects worldwide. This public facility is organized as individual units, maximizing the privacy while minimizing land use in the park. These units can be reproduced and installed flexibly according to future needs. The bending tube shape ensures protection and privacy, as well as functional requirements such as ventilation and natural lighting, without interrupting the connection between user and park.

Located on an irregular former industrial lot in the well known art village Songzhuang, Xiaopu Cultural Center is a multi-functional complex including exhibition galleries, five residency artist studios, exhibition workshop, art shop, and administration.
The diverse programs are unified through a Tangram layout adapting to the site, while vertically distributed into dual-levels: the public program on the ground level as a compact volume with courtyards, and the private working area occupies the upper level with individual studios allowing a view traveling across the red-tiled roofscape of this typical northern Chinese village.

Songzhuang art center
Songzhuang Art Center is the first public art facility built in this well-recognized contemporary chinese art village 45 minutes drive out of Beijing city. With around 4000 artists living in Songzhuang area by 2008, this Art Center will provide a platform for local community.

Pavilion e!
A temporary pavilion addressed to contemporary living and environmental issues will be introduced to the 6 months of exhibition at Shanghai expo 2010. To serve this global event and city festival, the building first evolves from ground forming an undulating surface forming a covered city electronic plaza. Xixi Leisure Center is one of the 12 buildings located in an art and culture compound in Xixi National Wetland Park, a cluster architecture commissioned to 12 Chinese architects by Hangzhou city government.
